These Terms shall govern your use of PAAQ mobile application, as available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store (hereinafter referred to as the “App” or “Platform”).

PAAQ stands for "Please Ask Any Question”, and we provide a space where users can connect with experts to get answers to questions across various topics through text and video. (hereinafter referred to as the“Service”)
These Terms of Service are applicable to the users of the platform. If you are an expert, please refer to our Expert Terms .
These Terms of Service govern your use of PAAQ and all associated services, including but not limited to, the ability to post questions, interact with experts, and receive answers. Please read these Terms carefully, as these, along with our Refund Policy ,Community Guidelines ,Privacy Policy statement and Cookie Policy , forms the entire agreement between you and PAAQ. If you do not accept these Terms in its entirety, then you may not use the website, App, or avail any of our services.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS OF SERVICE
By downloading or installing our App, or by accessing or using the App or our website, or by registering an account on our platform, or by engaging with our Services, or by clicking on a button or taking similar action to signify your affirmative acceptance of these Terms, you hereby represent that:
a) You have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and any future updates and additions to these Terms, as published from time to time at our website (www.paaq.app) and App.
b) You are of sound mind, at least 18 years in age, and otherwise competent to form a binding contract with us. If you are above 16 and below 18, then you can only use the app or website with verifiable express consent from your parent / legal guardian. In case you are below 16, then you cannot use our website or. By using the website or app, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements.
c) We must not have previously disabled your account for violation of law or any of our policies.
d) You have read, understood, and consented to our Community Guidelines, Refund Policy, Cookie Policy, as well as our Privacy Policy statement.
2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
a) Eligibility and Registration Requirements: To use PAAQ as a user, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental / legal guardian consent if under 18 and above 16. You need to provide accurate and complete information during registration, such as your full name, email address, and a secure password.
b) Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Always ensure that you log out after using the app, especially on shared or public devices, to prevent unauthorized access.
c) Account Verification: After registering, you may be required to complete a verification process, which could include email verification to ensure the security and authenticity of your account.
d) Account Responsibilities: You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized use or security breach, it is imperative to notify the customer service team at PAAQ immediately.
e) Account Modifications: You have the freedom to modify your account information at any time through the app settings. Keeping your contact details current is crucial for receiving important account notifications and responses from experts.
3. ALLOWED USES OF THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES
Here’s what you’re allowed to do on the platform:
a) Asking Questions: Users can ask questions to experts across various fields to gain knowledge or solve specific problems.
b) Uploading Content: Users are permitted to upload relevant content such as profile pictures, introduction videos (Recorded within PAAQ), and other media that enhances interaction.
c) Participating in Discussions: Engaging in discussions with experts and other users to expand one's understanding and network.
d) Accessing Tiered Services: Utilizing the tier upgrade system to access more advanced features or expert responses.
e) Sharing Feedback: Providing feedback on the platform's services and expert responses to help improve the quality of service.
f) Referring Friends: Inviting friends to join the platform to expand the user community.
g) Reviewing Expert Profiles: Browsing and reviewing profiles of experts to decide whom to ask questions.
h) Use of “Ask” Button: Using the “Ask” button to initiate questions with selected experts.
i) Following Community Guidelines: Adhering to all community guidelines to ensure a respectful and safe environment for all users.
j) Reporting Inappropriate Content: Reporting any content or interactions that violate the platform's terms or community guidelines.
k) Personal Use: Using the platform strictly for personal use and not for commercial solicitations or advertisements.
l) Complying with Legal and Regulatory Standards: Using the platform in a manner that complies with all applicable local and international laws.
m) Directions of Use: You must follow any and all guidelines or policies or directions of use as associated with each of the services on the platform.
n) Personal Information: Whenever prompted, you must provide us with the correct, accurate, and updated information. These will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy statement posted on our website and App.
4. ASKING A QUESTION AND RECEIVING AN ANSWER
a) How to Ask a Question:
- Access: Users must log into their PAAQ account to ask a question.
- Navigation: Locate the “Ask” button on an expert’s profile page to initiate a question.
- Content: Questions should be clear, concise, and relevant to the expert’s field of knowledge. Users should avoid including personal information or inappropriate content in their questions.
- Submission: Once you have composed your question, submit it through the provided interface on the expert’s profile.
b) Response Time: Experts have 48 hours to respond to each question. This timeframe ensures experts can provide thoughtful and detailed answers. Users will receive a notification when their question has been answered or if there is any follow-up required from either party.
c) Receiving an Answer: Once an answer is provided, it will appear in your account under the conversation section with the respective expert. While PAAQ facilitates knowledge exchange, the platform does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of answers. Users are encouraged to evaluate the usefulness of the information received.
d) Follow-Up Questions: Users have 24 hours to ask a follow-up question to clarify or expand on the information received. Depending on the expert’s settings, follow-up questions may incur additional charges. Always check the expert’s terms on their profile before proceeding.
e) Expert Unavailability: If an expert fails to respond within the designated 48-hour window, the user may be eligible for a refund, which will be processed according to the platform’s refund policy. Users are encouraged to seek other experts on the platform if the initial expert chosen is unavailable or does not respond in a timely manner.
f) Disputes and Moderation: If a user is dissatisfied with an answer, they may report the issue to PAAQ support for moderation and review. PAAQ aims to resolve any disputes fairly and efficiently, ensuring both parties are treated equitably.

a) Purpose of Reviews:Reviews on the PAAQ platform allow users to share their experiences with experts and provide feedback on the quality of answers received. Reviews help maintain the quality of the platform and assist other users in making informed decisions about which experts to engage.
b) Guidelines for Posting Reviews:
- Authenticity: All reviews must be based on your own experiences and be genuine, truthful, and accurate. Fabricated, fake, solicited, misleading, or irrelevant feedback or content is strictly prohibited.
- False Information: Reviews must be factual and honest. Posting false information or misrepresenting your experience is strictly prohibited. Reviews should reflect genuine interactions and not be fabricated to mislead other users.

c) Moderation of Reviews: PAAQ reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove any reviews that do not adhere to these guidelines. In cases where a review is flagged as inappropriate or harmful, it will be reviewed by our moderation team and may be removed to protect other users and maintain the integrity of the platform.
d) Use of Reviews:By posting a review, you grant PAAQ a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display the review content in connection with the services provided by the platform. PAAQ may use reviews in promotional materials, marketing efforts, or for other purposes to enhance the user experience.
e) Dispute Resolution:In the event of a dispute regarding a review, PAAQ will provide a means for users to contest the review. However, the final decision regarding review disputes rests with PAAQ.
6. PROHIBITED USES
Here is what you are not allowed to do on the platform:
a) Impersonation: Impersonating another person or entity, or falsely misrepresenting your identity or qualifications.
b) Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or the platform's backend systems.
c) Community Guidelines: You cannot engage in any act that violates our Community Guidelines, including without limitation, harassment, illegal activities, and spamming.
d) Malicious Code: Distributing viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the service.
e) Intellectual Property Infringement: Posting or using content that infringes upon any party’s intellectual property rights.
f) Objectionable Content: Posting or transmitting content that is obscene, indecent, pornographic, profane, or hateful.
g) Misuse of Personal Information: Collecting or attempting to collect personal information about users or third parties without their consent.
h) Manipulating Services: Manipulating the outcomes of services provided on the platform, including but not limited to, rigging questions or answers.
i) Data Mining: Using data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools on the platform.
j) Excessive Load: Creating an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the platform’s infrastructure.
k) Cheating the System: Using any unauthorized tool (e.g., bots, scripts) to modify or automate operation within the platform.
l) Interference: Interfering with or circumventing the security features of the service, other websites, or the Internet.
m) Violation of Terms and Conditions: Any action that violates any of the terms included in the platform's Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
n) Multiple Accounts: Creating multiple accounts or engaging in any activity aimed at abusing promotional offers provided by PAAQ is forbidden.
o) Reverse Engineering: You cannot reverse engineer or try to reverse engineer any of the proprietary/ intellectual property aspects of, including but not limited to the services, software, our platforms, networks, systems, etc., wholly or in part.
p) Data Extraction: You must not conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities (including without limitation scraping, data mining, data extraction and data harvesting) on or in relation to our website/App, without our express written consent.
7. UPDATES AND MODIFICATIONS TO FEATURES
a) Notification of Changes: PAAQ reserves the right to update or modify or remove certain features and services offered on the platform at any time without prior notice. These changes may include the addition of new services, modifications to existing features, or the removal of certain functionalities.
b) User Acceptance: By continuing to use the platform after such updates are implemented, you agree to be bound by the revised features and services. We encourage users to review the platform regularly to stay informed of any changes.
c) Impact on Users: Changes may enhance or alter the functionality that users are accustomed to. Depending on the nature of the update, users may need to adapt to new ways of interacting with the platform or accept alterations in how services are delivered.
d) Testing and Feedback: PAAQ may release beta versions of new features to a subset of users for testing purposes. User feedback from these tests may influence the final release of new features.
e) Temporary Unavailability: During updates, certain features of the platform may temporarily be unavailable. PAAQ will strive to conduct maintenance during off-peak hours and provide advance notice whenever feasible.
f) User Responsibilities: Users are responsible for maintaining updates to the app when prompted, ensuring compatibility with new features and services. Failure to update the app may result in reduced functionality or incompatibility with new updates.
g) Communication of Updates: All significant changes will be communicated through the platform’s official channels, such as app notifications, email updates, or announcements on the service website.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
a) Ownership of Content and Services: All content featured or displayed on the PAAQ App and website, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, photographs, images, moving images, sound, illustrations, software, calculators, algorithms, and all other materials, as well as the trademarks, logos, and service marks (collectively, "Content"), are owned by PAAQ APP LIMITED, its licensors, or its content providers. The design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, “look and feel”, and arrangement of such Content, contained on the App or website, are owned by the Company, and are protected by copyright, patent, and trademark laws, and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws.
b) Use of PAAQ Content: The Content provided on PAAQ is available to you for your information and personal use only. It is not allowed to be used, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any other purposes whatsoever without the prior written consent of the respective owners. The Company reserves all rights not expressly granted in and to the App, website, and the Content.
c) User-Generated Content: Users may upload or contribute content to the platform. By doing so, you grant PAAQ a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such content throughout the world in any media. You also grant PAAQ and its sublicensees the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content.
d) Prohibition on Infringement: Users must not upload, post, or otherwise disseminate any content that they do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships. This includes content that infringes upon any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party.
e) Protection of Intellectual Property: The Company respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the App to do the same. The Company may, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, disable or terminate the accounts of users who may be repeat infringers. To report infringement, please follow the procedure laid down in our Intellectual Property Infringement Claims Notice posted on our website and/or App.
f) User Feedback: Any feedback you provide to the Company will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. By providing any feedback, you grant P AAQ and its affiliates a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, perform, display, distribute, and otherwise disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose.

10. PAYMENT TERMS
a) Payment for Services: Users may be required to pay fees to access certain features on the platform, including but not limited to, obtaining answers from experts. All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars (unless specified otherwise), and users are responsible for paying all fees and applicable taxes in a timely manner with a payment mechanism associated with the relevant service.
b) Payment Processing: PAAQ utilizes third-party payment processors like Stripe for handling transactions. By making a payment through PAAQ, you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of the payment processor. Ensure that you are familiar with and accept these terms before making any transactions.
c) Refunds and Cancellations: Users may be entitled to a refund under certain circumstances. For more information, please refer to our Refund Policy posted on the website and App.
d) Chargebacks: If a user files a chargeback or payment dispute, their account may be suspended pending a review of the incident. Users are encouraged to contact PAAQ customer support within the app to address any billing issues before contacting their bank or credit card company to dispute a charge.
e) Wallet Transactions: Users can load funds into their PAAQ Wallet to use for transactions on the platform. Withdrawals from the PAAQ Wallet may be subject to minimum amounts and processing fees as outlined in the wallet terms.
11. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
The website/App might contain links to third-party website/Apps or services. For example, the website/App works with third-party payment service providers to provide you with the most convenient payment options. Such third-party links are not under the control of PAAQ, and PAAQ is not responsible for any third-party links. PAAQ provides access to these third-party links only as a convenience to you, and does not review, approve, monitor, endorse, warrant, or make any representations with respect to third-party links. You shall use all third-party links at your own risk, and should apply a suitable level of caution and discretion in doing so. Whenever you click on such links, you may be taken to such a third-party website/App, and you get out of the jurisdiction of our website/App. Therefore, you shall be governed by the legal policies of such third-party website/Apps and we suggest that you read those policies. In case of any damage due to such action of third-party links or inaccuracy of content or wrong information, PAAQ shall not be responsible.
12. DISCLAIMER
a) General Disclaimer: PAAQ App Limited provides the PAAQ platform as a venue for users to ask questions and receive answers from experts across various fields. While we strive to offer a reliable and effective service, PAAQ does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the platform nor does it adopt nor endorse, nor is it responsible for, the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice, or statement made by parties other than PAAQ.
b) No Vetting of Experts: PAAQ App Limited does not perform background checks or vetting on the individuals who register to answer questions as experts on the platform. We do not review, endorse, or verify the qualifications, expertise, claims, or backgrounds of any experts. The platform operates on a user-to-user basis, leaving the responsibility of verifying the credibility and qualifications of experts to the users themselves.
c) User Responsibility for Selection: As a user, you are responsible for conducting your own diligence before selecting an expert to engage with. PAAQ encourages you to review any available feedback, ratings, and provided credentials on the expert’s profile. However, you should not rely solely on this information when making a decision.
d) No Guarantees of Service Quality: PAAQ does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the answers provided by experts. The platform does not ensure that the services rendered by experts will meet your expectations or requirements. Any reliance on material provided by experts is at your own risk.
e) No Professional Advice: The information and answers received through PAAQ are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice. You should always seek the advice of a qualified professional for questions related to your specific circumstances. PAAQ is not intended to be a substitute for professional advice from a qualified expert, such as a doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, tax advisor, psychologist, psychiatrist, engineer, architect, nutritionist, personal trainer, or an educator.
f) Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstances will PAAQ App Limited be liable for any loss or damage caused by your reliance on information obtained through the platform. It is solely your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information, opinion, advice, or other content available through PAAQ.
g) Content Provided by Users: The content posted by users and experts on PAAQ does not reflect the views of PAAQ App Limited. The platform merely provides a space for knowledge exchange and does not monitor the content for accuracy, legality, or non-infringement.
h) Availability of the Platform: PAAQ does not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times, or that it will function without disruptions, errors, or defects. Maintenance, technical issues, or updates may affect availability.
i) Changes to the Platform: PAAQ reserves the right to make changes to the platform, its operations, and its terms at any time without prior notice. This includes adding, modifying, or discontinuing any aspect of the platform or its entire service.
j) No Compensation for Downtime or Errors: PAAQ does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform, including the app and website. Users acknowledge that the platform may experience periods of downtime, technical issues, or errors that could impact the availability or functionality of services. PAAQ will not be liable for any compensation or damages resulting from such interruptions or issues.
k) Your Responsibility: It is your responsibility to understand and comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations while using PAAQ. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
a) General Limitation:PAAQ App Limited, including its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the platform; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the platform; (iii) any content obtained from the platform; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose. In no event will PAAQ App Limited’s aggregate liability for all claims relating to the services exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid PAAQ, if any, in the last 12 months.
b) Applicable Law Exceptions:Certain jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some or all of the exclusions and limitations in this section may not apply to you if you are located in such jurisdictions. In such cases, PAAQ's liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
14. LEGAL ACTION
If you are found to be degrading, tarnishing, maligning the image, goodwill, or reputation of PAAQ by spreading hate, insulting, false, fake reviews or engaging in mala fide actions against the above, strong legal actions will be taken immediately.
15. INDEMNIFICATION
You acknowledge to defend, indemnify, and hold PAAQ, its affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, and any other licensors (hereinafter referred to as “Indemnified Party”) harmless from and against any claim, disputes, fine, liability, demand, or expense, including reasonable legal counsel’s fee, made by a third party, relating to, or arising from:
a) Your violation of ours or any third-party right;
b) Your wrongful or improper use of our services, or platform;
c) Your violation of any applicable laws, rules, or regulations;
d) Your violation of these Terms or any other policy of ours as associated with our services;
e) The indemnifications set forth above will survive the termination or expiration of these Terms and/or your use of our services.
16. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- Governing Law: The Terms and any dispute arising from the same will be governed by applicable laws of the Republic of Ireland, except for its conflict of law provisions.
- Negotiation and Informal Resolution: In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, you hereby agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiations and discussions.
- Judicial Action: If amicable resolution is not reached despite attempts, in that case either the user or the Company may initiate legal proceedings in the appropriate court located in Dublin, Ireland.
- No Class Actions: The user and the Company agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, or representative action. Both parties waive the right to participate in or bring class actions.
- Attorneys' Fees: In the event of any legal action arising from or related to this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.
- No Waiver of Rights: The pursuit of legal action shall not be construed as a waiver of any rights or remedies available under this Agreement.
17. NOTICES
When you use the website/App or send emails to PAAQ, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive physically or electronically any communications related to your use of this website/App. PAAQ will communicate with you by email or by posting notices on this website/App. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that are provided to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. We may give notice by means of a general notice via electronic mail to your email address as available with us. If you want to give a notice to us, you can do so by dropping an electronic mail to legal@paaq.app.
18. MISCELLANEOUS
- Independent Legal Advice: It is your obligation to obtain independent legal advice at your own expense to ensure you understand the provisions of these Terms.
- Headings: The section headings are for convenience only and shall not control or affect the meaning or construction of any provision of these Terms.
- Breach: In case of any breach or threatened breach to the provisions of these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend your access to our platform or our Services, at our sole discretion. In such cases, you will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions of these Terms will continue in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to insist on or enforce strict performance of these Terms of Service shall not be construed as a waiver by us of any provision or any right that we have to enforce these Terms and nor shall any course of conduct between Company and you or any other party be deemed to modify any provision of these Terms.
- Survival: Notwithstanding any other provisions of these Terms of Service, or any general legal principles to the contrary, any provision of these Terms of Service that imposes or contemplates continuing obligations on either party shall survive the expiration or termination of these Terms of Service, for any reason whatsoever.
- No Third-Party Beneficiaries: Except as otherwise expressly provided in these Terms of Service, there shall be no third-party beneficiaries to these Terms of Service.
- No Assignment: Users may not assign these Terms of Service (or any rights, benefits, or obligations hereunder) by operation of law or otherwise without the prior written consent of PAAQ, which may be withheld at PAAQ’s sole discretion. Any attempted assignment that does not comply with these Terms of Service shall be null and void.
- Entire Agreement: The Terms, Community Guidelines, Refund Policy, Cookie Policy, and Privacy Policy, and any additional terms and conditions incorporated herein or referred to herein constitute the entire agreement between PAAQ and you, relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes any prior understanding or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the subject matter, and may not be amended or modified except in writing or by making such amendments or modifications available on our website/App.
- Force Majeure: PAAQ and its third-party service providers will be excused from performance for any period during which, and to the extent that, such party or any subcontractor is prevented from performing any obligation or service, in whole or in part, as a result of causes beyond its reasonable control, and without its fault or negligence, including without limitation, acts of God, communication line failures, technical issues, bugs, errors, power failures and/or similar inabilities.
- Updates to these Terms: Please note, these Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, market realities, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to our Website or within the App. Your continued use of our Services following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. We encourage you to frequently review the Terms to ensure you understand the terms and conditions that apply to your use of our Services.
